Recently, Lagos state television has been receiving backlash for yanking off a newscaster over the use of hijab.
Tinuke Oloruntoyin was said to have been given an ultimatum to either take off her hijab or risk not appearing on Air.
She stick to her religious believes and refused to stop the use of hijab and was yanked off.
This has got many talking who felt it wasn’t new or strange to the TV station about her faith before she was employed.
Meanwhile, Nigerians has been calling upon the government to reinstate the newscaster.
