Popular Crossdresser, Area Mama brutally murdered in Abuja
Abuja-based crossdresser known as Area Mama was reportedly killed in the early hours of Thursday.
An Instagram user, _tosinsilverdam broke the news on his page, saying, “Popular crossdresser Abuja Area Mama allegedly murdered in cold blood earlier today. The pictures are so gory, I can’t post it here (Instagram). It’s on my Telegram channel. May his soul rest in peace.”
The crossdresser had earlier decried the threats and treatments he get from people due to his lifestyle.
In 2022, he narrated how he was assaulted in the Gwarinpa area of the Federal Capital Territory.
He said the incident happened during one of his ‘hookup’ outings in Abuja.
According to him, he was beaten by a group of men after having a squabble with a taxi driver who patronised his services.
In a video posted on social media, he showed off the blue-black eye he got from the physical assault.
Meanwhile, netizens, while reaching to the news of his death, have called on authorities to leave no stone unturned to bring the culprits to book.
