Nigerian sensational act, Ayodele Balogun, Wizkid is one force to reckon with in the Nigerian entertainment scene and is more passionate about his music than education.
Having started his music career when he was only 11 under the tutelage of ace producer OJB Jezreel of blessed memory visiting his studio at Ojuelegba Lagos then, he got inspired while watching veteran singer 2face Idibia record songs for his Grass to Grace album.

He was also around while Sound Sultan recorded his debut album, Jangbajantis .He came to limelight in 2009 when he featured on MI Abaga’s ‘Fast Money Fast Cars’ .
He later got signed to Banky W’s EME records and in 2010 his first single, ‘Holla At Your Boy’ was released and instantly became a hitsong and it got massive airplays then.
Wizkid has been notable for other hit songs like Ojuelegba,Jaiye Jaiye amongst other songs but the sad thing is this star boy is not academically sound as he was actually a big flop in his university days.
Sometime In 2008, Wizkid was admitted to study Sociology at Lagos State University’s Faculty of Social Science but dropped out in mid 2009 and was later admitted to study International Relations to at Lead City University in Ibadan where he equally dropped out after two sessions.
Wizkid’s result has surfaced as it shows his poor CGPAs of 1.86 & 1.00, final CGPA of 0.91 in 2 semesters and 44 carry overs.
