A policeman was said to have shot to death a motorcyclist rider popularly known as okada in Zaki Biam area of Benue State.
The man who was yet to be identified had a serious clash with the policeman and was shot in the process.
The Okada men in the area have mobilized themselves as they took to the street in protest of the injustice melted against their colleague by the enforcement agency.
The state police spokesman Moses Yamu, had denied knowledge of the incident.
“I’m not aware yet. I will call you back as soon as I find out. Thank you,” he said.
