As Nigeria will be 50 years as an independent nation on Friday October 1, series of events have been lined up across the country to celebrate the milestone. And as to be expected, the Performing Musicians Employers Association (PMAN) is not left out in the frenzy preparation for the golden jubilee celebration.

And to make this a reality, the musicians’ union has decided to host a Golden Concert to be celebrated by all and sundry. It has engaged Kingsize Entertainment to jointly packaged a dual musical concert in Lagos tagged: “Nigeria @ 50: Golden Concert.”

The concert will parade the best of artistes in Nigeria ranging from veterans to new rave in music circle that is, juju, hip hop, reggae, fuji, traditional music, R&B.

“It is going to be one stop musical event in the land”, the organiser boasted.

Kingsize Entertainment, an event outfit, which has handled and packaged series of promotional and musical shows for corporate bodies will partner with PMAN in terms of technical, organisation, sponsorship, marketing and branding as well as ensuring that the proposed Golden Concert meets international standards in all respects, coupled with giving our beloved country something to celebrate about, for years to come.

“We are not taking chances, we are making bold steps towards our beloved country’s 50th celebrations, that is why we signed on Kingsize Entertainment to partner with us towards this laudable event because proper planning prevents poor performance. We are going all out to make things happen in Lagos because music is our business,” Dele Abiodun, PMAN president declared.
