Many have started pouring their hearts out as they mourn the long-serving Nollywood actor. People have taken to the Social Networks (Facebook and Twitter) as usual to show grief and mourn the loss of a great actor.

‘He’s someone I’m going to miss very much. He sacrificed much part of his life for this work and the sad thing is that he’s not going to see the industry paying back for all the kind efforts, suffering, sleepless nights, sleeping outside the home that he has put into the work. And my heart goes out to the family’
A visit to his residence at 11, Transit Village 1, Ikoyi, Lagos, the place looked deserted as no one was at home, but upon asking a few neighbours, they confirmed that it is the Nwosu’s residence. A black Mercedes Benz 190 with license number AZ 364–RBC, supposedly Nwosu’s car was parked directly opposite the building. A neighbour later confirmed that it was his.
‘He would always smile anytime I greeted him. He was a cheerful man and it’s a pity he’s gone’, a neighbour who prefers to remain anonymous tells us.
When our reporter approached a security guard who stayed in the next street, he lamented and disclosed to us how the actor drank and smoked excessively. ‘He hardly stayed at home; he was probably here two times a week. It’s a pity he has to go like this, he was a nice man’, the guard lamented.
Other Nollywood colleagues including Mercy Johnson, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve promised to get back to us on there reaction on Nwosu’s death.
But no word yet from them as at press time. The Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) was also yet to issue a statement.
