Embattled Nollywood Producer Seun Egbegbe has been caught again trying to steal 10M naira from an unsuspecting mallam, a bureau de change operator in Lagos. The details of the incident is yet to be ascertain.
He will be going to court on February 8th over alleged stealing of nine iPhone in computer village Ikeja. Recall that in November 22, the Lagos socialite was nabbed and beaten in computer village after he was caught with stolen iPhones.
And on November 24, 2016, he was brought before Judge A. J. Atunwa at Roselyne Omotosho Court House in GRA, Ikeja, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to a Lagos based lawyer, Adigun Bankole, things may not go down well with the producer if he is eventually found guilty. That will earn him a three years jail term except the court grants him an option of fine.
“On the account of if he is found guilty on the next adjourned date depends on the charge profiled against him as well as evidence adduced to that effect. In any case, if found guilty of stealing as provided for under section 390 of the criminal code he shall be liable for three years imprisonment,’ he said
Seun is still seen as innocent until proven guilty according to section 36 of the 1999 Constitution as amended.
