Your life is always at risk especially when you go contrary to some ruling cabals in the state. Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, South-South chapter, Archbishop God-do-well Avwomakpa has revealed that some group of persons planned the assassination of the ex- CAN president, Ayo Oritsejafor during his tenure which ended July last year.
He noted that God in his infinite mercy frustrated their plans. He made this known during his sermon at an Interdenominational thanksgiving service in Warri, Delta state. A program which was organized by organized by CAN, South-South in honor of the past CAN President.
It was really a though season for the man of God especially when the operation of the dreaded Boko Haram sect was on the heat of operation. Christian were being killed in the Norteren part of the country and alot of questions were being asked as to what are the CAN doing about the incessant killings despite his efforts to bring the government swing into action and profer lasting solution.
The Archbishop commended Papa Oritsejafor for his relentless efforts and his never giving up spirit despite various attempts on his life. He gave him a name Eghwubare which means when you send missiles to a man and he refuses to die.
