In Nigeria, there are many talents in all endeavours but not all are able to survive the taste of time especially in a field where there is much competition like entertainment. Currently, Nigerians are making name for themselves in terms of music and with good producers. But one person that will get it hot is wave making producer, Don Jazzy as he has gotten a young competitor in the making.
15-year-old son of Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade, M.J Ekeinde, who just ventured into the Nigerian entertainment industry, is breaking all barriers just to make his mark in the music scene both local and international.
M.J Ekeinde aka Captain E, with over 60 beats to his credits, has just hit another milestone as he recently emerged as the third runner up at the just concluded International Music Conference tagged Producer Showcase Competition 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The event which was aimed at discovering young music producers around the world, had only young Captain E as the only African representative as well as the youngest contestant in the competition.
The elated Omotola, could not hold back her joy as she took out time to remind her son that in whatever he does, he should remember that with God, all things are possible.
She further advised him that as he prepares for the task ahead, he should be confident and believe in himself because of his uniqueness.
CaptainE as he is referred to, aspires to go to aviation school when he’s 18 to become an Airline pilot like his father Matthew Ekeinde but before then he will be flying his passion, music.
