Nollywood diva, Omotola Jade was one of the most sort after and loved actress over the years.
After sometime, like some of her colleagues she no longer features frequently in movies.
In recent years, the singer and actress, has acted in few movies which had got people wondering probably she had other projects taking her time.
At a time, rumor had it that the likes of Omotola, Genevieve, and Ramsey Noah among others were too expensive due to the fame they have acquired in Nollywood, so producers opted for fresh talents.
In a recent interview, she disclosed that she had gotten to a point in her career that she became selective about scripts and she wasn’t really getting one that appealed to her.
She went on to say that internationally, they expected more from her and that had made her not just feature in any kind of movie while she tried to rediscover herself.
She went further to say , the new project she is working on ‘Alter Ego’ is different from any other movie, which is why she decided to do the movie as they were ready to push boundaries, which is what she hasn’t seen in Nollywood for so long as producers were always setting their ways.
