The latest movie produced by Omoni Oboli, ‘Okafor’s law’ has been selected for Stockholm International Film Festival (SIFF).
The film was nominated for film competition section of SIFF. The festival aims at recognizing high quallty films from around the world.
Okafor’s law seems to be the most ambitious movie of the star actress as it featured the likes of Richard Mofe-Damijo, Blossom Chukwujekwe, Gabriel Afolayan, Tina Mba, Toyin Aimakhu, Halima Abubakar among others.
The movie which is a romantic comedy has its story line around a man’s attempt to seduce three women: a churchgoing banker, a workaholic businesswoman and the second wife of a wealthy man.
Producing the movie cost about N40 million.
Meanwhile, ‘Wives on strike’, Oboli’s last movie reportedly earned N70 million in the cinemas.
Okafor’s Law will start showing in cinemas across Nigeria from April 2017.
