 in a new reports, the actress and self styled “First Lady’ dismissed the reports with her own excuses.

According to her words; “I am shocked at the report that I shunned my colleagues at the recently concluded Sun Awards. Nothing could be more untrue. When I was called on stage to receive my award as Nollywood personality of the year for 2015, I went to the podium alone and a call was made to my colleagues present. They all made it to the podium and I exchanged pleasantries with many of them. I took pictures with a few. I am what I am by the making of God and my industry,

Nollywood. I am ever proud of the industry and have always been respectful toward my colleagues. In every way possible, I am pro-Nollywood. It will be inconceivable that I will in anyway disrespect the industry or my esteemed colleagues there.

It will do us a whole lot of goods if reporters, bloggers and online influencers do due diligence before ‘rushing’ to post. These things get at us sometimes and many people out there believe the lies more because they suit their reasoning. Celebrities are human too. In as much as I believe that the relationship between media and entertainment is mutually beneficial, either party should not exploit each other. If we do things together, we can benefit greatly from our alliance, there is no point in trying to create division. I love the media and I believe they love me too but love is only respected when it is not taken for granted.”From her words, it is obvious Omoni has regretted her mistakes and trying to make things right with her colleagues in the entertainment sector.
