Nigerian rapper M.I Abaga has released a list of his best 5 rappers of all times and top 5 at the moment also but some notable names are missing.
Olamide, phyno, vector and others are considered to be one of the best rappers in Nigeria, but that does not seem so to M.I.
He was asked by one of his follower to mention five people he considers to be his best when it comes to rap.
In response to a question asked by one of his fans on Twitter, Mr. Incredible named “Mode 9, Proverbs (of South Africa), Jesse Jaggz, Freestyle and Ghost” as his all-time greatest African rappers.
However, his list of 5 hottest African rappers right now include; Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest, Poe (of Mavin Records), Ghost and Khaligraph Jones (of Kenya).
The rapper sidelined most of the notable names in the rap business in Nigeria and opted for the young dudes.
Recently M.I was in support of Cassper Nyovest who said that Nigerian hip-hop is local, M.I who issued that Nigerian rappers need to go fix up their lives if they want to make it big.
