Nigerian Fuji singer who is also referred to as the brands king Wasiu Ayinde Marshall Alias K1 The Ultimate has revealed that Olamide took his song without his permission.
According to K1, Olamide had sampled his song ‘Anifowoshe’ in 2013 and he has revealed that it is the name of his father which he had earlier used but Olamide used it without asking to do so.
K1 is of the opinion that he wrote the song in reference of his father but he rather chooses not to take action towards it but rather he embraced him.
He said; “if i had rebuked him, if i had taken it personally, if i had said because he didn’t come to me to seek for direct approval for the redoing of that number, Omo Anifowoshe is me, Anifowoshe is my father’s name.
There are a lot of my songs that have been done in the past, that people never come to me to ask for it, it is only in the west you don’t do things like that. If i rebuke him, what do i gain from it? Instead, i embraced him.” K1 The Ultimate revealed.
