Frontline movie marketer, Okiki Films and Music Productions, was recently honoured with an award by City People Magazine. The respected film production outfit was named the ‘Best Marketer’ by the publication.
Publisher of the magazine, Seye Kehinde presented the award of excellence to the Chairman, Okiki Films and Music Productions, Mr. Sunday Esan in Ibadan, Oyo State, at the album launch and welcome back party of Nigerian renowned singer, Femi Solar.
The event took place on May 22, 2014 at the prestigious Genesis Hall, Challenge, Ibadan and it was attended by King Sunny Ade, Pasuma, Buga, 9ice, Ayuba, Dele Taiwo and many others.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Esan Sunday gave thanks to Almighty God for the honour bestowed on him by the magazine and dedicated it to the distributors, customers, and fans of the actors and actresses of all Yoruba films, assuring them of more quality jobs from his stable.
“I am happy that Okiki Films has come to stay. We have won an award as the Best Yoruba Film Marketer before from the Chartered Institute of Marketers of Nigeria. Now, winning another award this night is very gladdening. It shows that people appreciate the efforts we put into planning and eventual production of educative and entertaining films.
“We will do more, produce better films and in no time, productions of Okiki Films will be at par with the very best in Hollywood,” an elated Esan said.
Okiki Films and Music Production was established in 2006 as a full-fledged entertainment company with a mandate to engage in music and film production, marketing and distribution, CD and DVD production, video coverage, editing and artiste management.
