Late OJB was a renowned producer who produced quite a number of hit songs and also doubled as an artiste.
The entertainer who suffered a kidney failure in 2013 was saved when his first wife, Mabel donated one of her kidney.
Although the same kidney problem led to his demise and he was laid to rest on the 8th of July 2016.
Many really didn’t know why Mama J, his first wife emerged the donor, but in a recent interview with Sun, his third wife, Korede made the revelation.
In her words: “initially when we went for test, we were all fit to donate, but then, I had just given birth to my baby girl through CS, so the doctors ruled me out and eventually Mama J became the donor, and I was asked to come and care for them.”
OJB Jezreel might no longer be with us, but he would always be remembered by Nigerians for his good works and contributions into the growth of Nigerian entertainment.
