At the women interactive session held recently in Lagos by the All progressive Congress political party’s Presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, in addressing the issues affecting the Nigerian masses has pointed that the growth of the country does not depend on governance alone but with the corporative efforts of everyone.
Responding to questions from the women as they take various turns to question the plans of the party when elected into office, Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola seeked to know how the APC government was ready to do to have save the creative industry which has been able to create employment for many youths.
In the live telecast monitored by Nigeriafilms.com, Governor Fashola of Lagos state, responded that the Nollywood industry were the ones losing because in the earlier time, things were not these bad as the rate of piracy has increase overtime.
Fashola suggested that for there to be a good structure for the industry, the government needs to help fight pirates in other to save the creative industry.
Further lending his voice on the issue, former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, noted that there is truly a creative industry but not every talent is rewarded.
