The Nigerian youths have been warned not to be used as a tool by politicians in the forthcoming elections in the country.
This warning was given by some top practitioners in the movie industry in Nigeria under the aegis of National Orientation For Being A Good African (NO BAGA), which Peace Anyiam Osigwe is its National Coordinator.
At its campaign in Kaduna State, star actress, Patience Ozokwo, fondly called Mama G, urged the people to live together in peace and harmony, while emphasising that no one should attack his neighbour because of politics, ethnicity or religion
“There is no need to fight each other because of elections. Election is a continuous process. A loser today can become a winner tomorrow,” she said.
Also speaking at the event, Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) and Kanayo O Kanayo, decried the involvement of youths and minors in violence and insurgency. They urged politicians to stop using them to perpetuate violence.
In her address, Anyiam Osigwe said the campaign train will pass through major towns across the country. She tasked youths to shun violence.
