Over the weekend, in far away Illah, Delta state, former Super eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, was laid to rest amidst tears from some of his family members and friends that turned up for the burial.
While many wondered what is going on in the country especially with the high rate of deaths taking place, some guests present at the burial along with Keshi’s family members were shocked that government officials and the Nigeria Football Federation members were not present at the burial.
While the NFF President Amaju Pinnick, said he took ill which was the reason he could not attend the burial it was also disclosed that, the Federal Government backed out of promises to take over the burial ceremony of the late Stephen Keshi.
As this comes to a shock to many, Nollywood producer Okey Zubelu Okoh, who was also a guest at the burial, has just exposed the challenged he and some of her friends experienced while on their trip for the burial.
Okey shared a picture of the bad state of the road leading to late Keshi’s village as it the heavy down pour experienced recently had over flooded the whole road without any form of drainage system. This could have as well been the reasons why some government officials stayed away knowing how bad the road was.
