Nollywood Reel gathered, having proved his mettle in several productions he had handled over the years, was contracted by the producers of the movie, Ballerina – a dance opera tale of childhood innocence and love.
Speaking on the movie which will be shot in 35mm celluloid format and subtitled in three Nigerian languages, Njamah stated that Ballerina would definitely be a challenging project considering its objectives and cast, among other factors. Confirming that the audition of cast has begun for the film project, Njamah added that his duty is to make sure all the actors in the movie bring out their best.
The movie revolves around the lives of Seal and Rina, both teenagers, who are childhood friends. Seal, a high school student of Corona Group of Schools meets Rina, a student of Loyola Jesuit College, during a holiday outing at the bar beach, Lagos.
Instantly, teenage love develops between them and reaches its climax at the venue of a neighborhood music and dance competition tagged The Naija Changer – a competition designed to campaign for individual national rebirth. Rina leads her neighborhood group called D.M.Xpressions to win the competition with exciting ballet dance styles, which consequently earns her the name, Ballerina, meaning the female ballet dancer.
