Singer-songwriter, Niyola, took it all off in an Instagram post on Monday to lecture women on what it means to be a queen. The 31-year-old, whose real name is Eniola Akinbo, describes a queen as a kingmaker, not just the wife of a king.
A queen, she wrote, “protects, exudes grace, honour, RESPECT, self-control, wisdom.”
Perhaps, to justify her state of undress, the ‘Toh Bad’ singer added: “What you are clad in doesn’t make you queen, not even a crown.”

Inspiring as she might think her message is, it is her naked state that will linger longer in the mind of her Instagram followers.
Often referred to as an abs queen, Niyola was runner up at the Amen Starlet Competition in year 2000 and began her music career professionally in 2005.
She was briefly affiliated with ELDee’s Trybes Records but later signed an official production deal with Freestyle’s Make Sum Noise Entertainment (MSNE).
As an artiste under MSNE, she released three singles, ‘Me n U (In Da Club)’, ‘No More’ and ‘Dem Say’.
She went on to sign a recording deal with Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) in 2012, under which she released ‘Toh Bad’ in 2013, earning her national recognition.
Her work with Banky was consistently overshadowed by reports that the two were having an affair.
With Mr Capable now engaged and about to be married to actress, Adesua Etomi, Niyola’s new single, ‘Where is the Love’, featuring Adekunle Gold need all the royal treatment it deserves.
