Veteran actor, Pete Edochie, is full of praises for, Willie Obiano, the Executive Governor of Anambra state for paying his long standing gratuity for his service to the state as a staff of Anambra State Broadcasting Services.

Edochie who retired in 1998 as the Director of Programmes was not the only one who got the good news as other colleagues of his, including a certain, Boniface Offokaja , who retired in 1984 as the Director General of the organization among other got their pension as well.

An excited Edochie had these kind words for the governor of Anambra state “Many of us have lost hope that we will ever receive our gratuities. Despite our meritorious service to Anambra state, successive governments chose to neglect us. What Governor Willie Obiano has done today is remarkable.

We are praying for him because he is a compassionate governor.”
