Nigerian youths protest, demands Very Dark Man’s release
Some Nigerian youths took to the streets of Abuja to protest the continuous incarceration of controversial social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse better known as Very Dark Man.
Recall that VDM was arrested four days ago after Actress Tonto Dikeh filed a complaint of cyberbullying and threat to life.
The actress dragged the social media activist to the authorities after he accused her of being a part of the GistLover blog formation.
The social media activist who was supposed to be released from detention on Monday was given a heavy bail condition, which made it very difficult for him to secure bail. His bail condition required a property and a business owner in Abuja with a government seal of oath and submission of an International passport for 1 year plus N200 million naira.
Following this, some Nigerian youths, who are clearly fans and lovers of the socialite took to the street to stage a protest for him, demanding his release.
In videos seen online, the youths could be seen carrying placards and cardboard, which have the inscription ‘Free Very Dark Man.’
His lawyer had earlier revealed those behind the arrest which include actresses Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and singer, Samklef, whom he has had beef with in the past few months.
