There has been this controversy as to which country’s jollof rice is the best and we guess we have gotten the answer to the long time question.
Recall that sometime ago there was a bitter online war between Nigerians and the Ghanaians as to whose jollof rice tasted better and sometime ago,social media literarily tore the Nigerian minister of information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed in pieces when he said Senegalese jollof rice was the best. This sure caused an uproar and social media became a sea of diverse opinions,well guess what?!we now have a winner!

Nigeria Jollof Rice has officially beat Cameroon jollof, Ghana jollof, and Sierra Leone jollof to become the winner of the first ever Jollof Hackhaton in the United States.
Miss Atinuke Ogunsalu of Queensway Restaurant & Catering in Maryland, US led Nigeria on a perpetual victory parade as she secured the win and worked away with the cash prize of $1000 and also coworking services from event partner I/O Spaces and equally got the opportunity to become a Chef at Jollof Caviar; an upscale African Fusion Restaurant Opening in Washington DC in 2019.
The newly crowned #JollofFestival champion miss Ogunsalu in a brief interview said that she was glad to have won such a competition for Nigeria and urged others to abandon the critical attitude and try Nigerian jollof.
