One member of popular gospel group, Midnight Crew, Mike Abdul has categorically stated that a music collaboration between him and Fuji lord, Alabi Pasuma can never happen.
The singer, who was in the news recently for allegedly dumping his wife to pick another man’s woman disclosed this some days ago while speaking on a Lagos-based radio station.
Mike stated that he and Pasuma can never do a duet because of the latter’s life, which he says does not conform with his own (Mike) believe and messages being passed to his followers.
Mike said gospel music goes beyond passing a Godly message to the people, it is also about someone living a Godly life, which he says Pasuma doesn’t portray.
The singer was a guest on an Eko FM weekly show, ‘Joli Joli Avenue with MC Ice Water’.
When asked about other gospel artistes who have featured Pasuma in their songs, Abdul replied that it is just a matter of what one believes, but as for him, that is his stand on the matter.
The musician also talked about Midnight Crew’s respective member’s solo careers. He explained that they are all still together as one, contrary to speculations that they have parted ways. He disclosed that members of the band agreed to embark on solo careers, but all still with the group.
Meanwhile, Abdul failed to speak on his alleged marriage crash due to infidelity. He described all negative stories written about him in the media as an eye opener for him.
