Netizens slam Burna Boy for snubbing Davido’s father at recent event

Some netizens have knocked Grammy Award-winning singer, Burna Boy for snubbing Deji Adeleke, the father of his colleague, David Adeleke, aka Davido.

The singer had omitted Davido’s father’s name while recognising Nigerian billionaires during his performance in London.

On Friday night, Burna Boy hosted his African Giant Live from London concert, where a video clip that has gone viral shows him seemingly taking a jab at his rival’s family.

In the clip, Burna Boy performed his hit song “Dangote,” in which he mentions several Nigerian billionaires, including Dangote, Otedola, Alakija, Adeleke, and Adenuga, stating their continued hustle despite their wealth.

However, during the performance, he mentioned the names of the other billionaires but deliberately skipped Davido’s father’s name.

This led to a reaction from a social media user named Johnny, who questioned Burna Boy’s motives, tweeting, “Why Burna skip Davido’s papa?

Johnny’s question sparked diverse reactions slamming the singer.
