An Argentine football player Federico Allende, a defender for lower-division club Sport Pacifico,shocked fans after admitting that he used a needle to hurt his rivals during a cup of on Sunday.

He proclaimed it in a radio interview about using the needle several times against strikers from top-division club Estudiantes.

“A players had to be clever in order to win.” said Federico

The club president Hector Moncada has promised to expel the player. “We are devastated. This incident has tarnished the team’s good work. I will expel him from the club,”.

Pacifico won there last match 3-2, pulling out Estudiantes out of the cup competition. The players returned and was celebrated as heroes in the small western town of General Alvear when they returned from Buenos Aires, where the match was played.

But the atmosphere which had a lot of fun changed into a moody one when the player made a nasty comment in the radio interview he said “you need to play dirty” to beat big clubs like Estudiantes de La Plata.

He want ahead to say:

“We knew that we had to play dirty against them and I kept piercing the Estudiantes strikers with a needle,” .

“We know that top division players don’t like contact, they don’t like if we waste time or if we play dirty. So that was the way to do. Football is like that. Football is for the clever,” Allende told Vorterix Radio.”he added.

The Colombian striker Juan Otero said Allende stabbed him countless number times with a needle. The player who complained to the referee during the match but wasn’t giving an attention. The player described Allende as ” a nasty player”

“I completely nullified Otero. He must hate me,” Allende told the radio presenter .
