For some months now, there have been viral reports that the marriage of Umar Yuguda, the handsome son of former Bauchi state governor, Isa Yuguda, has crashed irretrievably.
However, contrary to the reports, the expectant father took to his Instagram page a while ago to refute the claims that his wife, Meema, is no longer with him after 11 months of marriage.
The rumour had spread like wild fire shortly after Meema removed all his photos from her Instagram page.
In his latest post, Umar wrote, “This is just to clarify to people that are spreading rumours that I and my wife are separated, I rebuke it in the name of God. We will never separate or have any evil person distract us from the happiness we have. We will only keep getting stronger and our bond will keep getting tighter.
“I will encourage everyone that is spreading rumour about me and my wife to quickly put all that energy in building our society and bringing peace between our people with the situation of the world right now and self-build to impact in our society that is way behind. And don’t forget ‘we will return back to soil’ ‘the soul will leave the body’ and the ‘body will testify against the soul’.
“Please I want to plead with people that will get to read this that your prayers will be appreciated rather than gossips. Be rest assured that my wife is an angel and a saint and will always put me before anyone and I will thank her for that.
“My wife and I are about to take the next leap into the next phase of this journey of life. Allah has blessed our marriage with the fruitfulness of a child. We listened to all the ‘cake cutting advice from beloved parents and elders witnessing our marriage’.
“As a brother and friend, I would still ask for your prayers and support. If anything, for the fact that you will all be in our type of shoes some day! So please people try and be careful because God is not sleeping and whatever you do to someone, even worse can be done to you but we do not pray for that.
“Finally, to my wife, I will forever love you and I can’t think of a day without doing that because that will be the day I will be in the grave.”
