My skits helped me defeated cyberbullies – JUSSTPRINCE
A Nigerian social media influencer, Jusstprince, has shared how used his skits to address cyberbullying in a creative and impactful way.
The skitmaker recalled how he was scared of bullies at the early stage of his career but noted that he used satire to highlight the absurdity of online harassment.
He said his efforts have inspired others to stand up against cyberbullying, making the online space a more positive and supportive environment.
“Talking about the lows through my Journey, I can say for sure a lot of audience out there love to cyber bully content creators just for a reason I can’t tell. I used to get that during my early stage of content creation but not anymore because they had no option than to love me for what I do because I’m obviously creating the content I love to and not harming anyone,” said JUSSTPRINCE.
Continuing, he said, “Talking about the lows through my Journey, I can say for sure a lot of audience out there love to cyber bully content creators just for a reason I can’t tell. I used to get that during my early stage of content creation but not anymore because they had no option than to love me for what I do because l’m obviously creating the content I love to and not harming anyone.
“A lot of challenges with being a Content creator such as you hardly have free time for yourself because millions of people are waiting on your page to feed them with new content but the good part of it is you keep paving way for more Fame and money. At the beginning of content Creation, low engagements were a big challenge because I didn’t know my niche at that point. Until I sat down to think thoroughly about what my audience preferences are. I got it, started working with it and I overcame that”.
According to Prince Godson known as Jusstprince, he was motivated to start creating content on TikTok out of depression and family tragedy, fans also encouraged him that his skits are humorous and energetic with his awesome personality and would be a great fit for TikTok, and that he could reach a wider audience and gain more visibility for his content.
He also mentioned that when he started his aunt who’s the mother’s sister helped him with the female outfits and also gave him shelter.
With this encouragement, Jusstprince decided to take the leap and start creating content on TikTok, which ultimately led to his massive success on the platform.
“The whole idea of dressing as a lady is Ladies have funny characters’ so dressing as a lady to portray those characters was the aim and I know I could do that perfectly. My friend who also dresses as a woman with the Bread was the very person who sat me down back then in 2021 to teach me how Tiktok works pertaining to editing of videos, we know our audience love seeing us together that’s why we do more video contents together,” said JUSSTPRINCE.
