A fast-rising star in the Yoruba movie industry, Muyiwa Olorode has dedicated an award he recently won to a superstar Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola.

Muyiwa, fondly called Mix Rozay by some of his friends and fans, emerged the Best Upcoming Actor 2014 at the Peers-In-Town award ceremony.

Accepting the honour, the elated budding actor thanked God, his fans and everyone that have contributed to his success in the movie industry since he journeyed into it.

Muyiwa pointed out that the likes of Odunlade gave him inspiration to aspire to climb to the top in the industry. The actor also noted that he was dedicating the award to Odunlade because of that. He said he hopes to continue to do better in his acting career, saying that the award is an indication that he was doing well in the industry.

He promised never to rest on his oars in becoming one of the superstars in the Yoruba movie industry.

At the Ogun State All Stars Concert and Awards ceremony held on November 2, 2014, Muyiwa also won an award as the Most Promising Actor for his movie entitled ‘Oruko’.
