The success story of Adeyemi Muritala Alabede a.k.a. Mr. Pajuji would be incomplete if mention is not made to his unalloyed passion for education. After he left Olodi Apapa Secondary School in 1996 all effort to gain admission into a citadel of higher learning was so difficult for him so he was frustrated out of the country.
His sojourn to the Republic of Ireland-Dublin where his passion for music was discovered has become a right and bold step for him as he turned a celebrity overnight with his first musical effort, Mr. Pajuji Loves U All. The album was well received and applauded by the largest audience of the Irish and the blacks to the extent that he was always getting one or two events to attend to a day. Ever since he dabbles into the world of music, Adeyemi has been making unprecedented success, all thanks to his sense of humility and unalloyed passion for music.
Despite Adeyemi’s passion for music, his burning desire to become a graduate couldn’t be quelled hence he enrolled to study Practical Electronics at Galway Mayor Institute of Technology and graduated with flying colours. Presently, the promising Adeyemi is a student of the University of Dublin.
The Lagos born native of Ibadan, Adeyemi, whose musical efforts is been promoted and marketed by the internationally connected bizman, Olla Iginla of Kash-Flo Productions, is set to storm home with his brand of music, a fusion of hip-hop, dancehall and afro beat.
The Updated, his second work will be released in Nigeria this November after which an album launch party will follow in Dublin in December.
When asked why he plays music “I play music to satisfy people without prejudice. I love to play a music that will put smiles on people’s faces either young, old, women or men. I got this inspiration from the likes of Fela Kuti, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister and Charly Boy. On the western world zones, Michael Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash, 2Pac, Shaggy, Missy Elliot and Jayz are those I can mention” Mr. Pajuji responded
“I thank God for my life, since I was a kid, I had always wanted to play music as I sing and dance very well. But you know, in Nigeria, education is priority, parents will encourage you to study first before you do anything phenomenal, so, it’s our time and we have to enjoy it to the fullest.” He concluded.
