Mummy Wa advises young ladies to stop ‘hook-up business’
Actress, Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has urged young ladies to desist from engaging in prostitution, which is referred to as ‘hook-up’ in the local parlance.
The content creator and fictitious wife of skit maker, Mr Macaroni, in a recent interview, advised that there are several ways to legally make money without selling one’s body.
She said, “A lot of people are doing different things to survive in Nigeria, and it is crazy. However, I don’t advise people to engage in ‘hook-up’, whether digitally or physically. There are other ways to make money and survive.”
She also stated that she enjoyed playing Mr Macaroni’s onscreen wife. “The best part of playing Mummy Wa is actually acting alongside Mr Macaroni. He is a wonderful person, and I am just so happy playing the character.”
Recently, the content creator shared a video collage of herself detailing her days of small beginnings. When asked why she made the post, Ikuseedun said, “I was inspired to share the video, because of the fact that my movie is coming out soon. I am very happy about it. For some people, it might not mean anything, but this thing that started small for me has become a whole lot. It is something I have always wanted to do, and I am happy that I have done it, and will still do even more.”
