Mr Ibu’s widow celebrates actor’s posthumous birthday

Stella Maris, widow of actor John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu has celebrated her late husband on his first posthumous birthday.

The widow shared photos of the late comic legend alongside their children on Instagram, expressing her sorrow and reflecting on how much he cherished birthdays when he was alive.

In her post, she wrote, “Today would have been my late husband’s birthday. This marks the first one without him celebrating with us.

“I can never forget how much he valued and enjoyed his birthdays. We miss him deeply. May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace, Amen.”

Mr Ibu, known for his roles in Nollywood comedies passed away on March 2 after a long battle with illness which tragically led to the amputation of his leg.

He was 62 years old.
