Present Miss Nigeria , Leesi Peter-Vigboro has spoken about the general notion that some models have sex with the organisers so as to emerge winners.
The Computer Science graduate of University of Port Harcourt said that because there a lot of incidences like that does not mean that all modeling industry are like that.
A good example is Miss Chidinma Okeke of Anambra state whose producers and organizers allegedly lured her into doing a lesbian video in order for her to win the pageant.
“I cannot speak for every organization because I haven’t exactly been involved with them, I can say for a fact that type of thing does not happen in the Miss Nigeria pageant” she said.
Leesi further stated that Miss Nigerian pageant has a very good principle of upholding the values and exemplary qualities of a Nigerian woman and the winners are selected strictly on merit.
She is currently working on training project she commenced in August (Project Young Minds), but will soon implement the ‘Green Girl Project’ before she hands over.
