There was a time MI Abaga , Audu Maikor and Milli were one big family, not any longer because the fast rising rapper has been shown the way out of their record label, Chocolate City.
Milli was signed alongside Koker and Dice Ailes to rival Mavin records’ D’ija, Reekado Banks and Korede Bello.
In 2014, Milli, was probably the most featured rapper on MI‘s third studio album, ‘The Chairman.’ He was signed to MI’s ‘Loopy Music’ in 2015. However, when Choc City and Loopy Music merged in 2015, he officially became signed to Choc City.
Everyone was waiting for his ‘Childish EP’ to be released and that may not be possible again. A press release has been put out in this effect ‘Chocolate City andMilli have agreed to end our business relationship amicably. We wish Milli well with all future endeavors as he has an amazing career ahead of him’.
Some people are saying that, ‘Milli and the label have been having issues for a long time. He’s strong willed and erratic. Most times he’s difficult to control’. Too bad that this engagement didn’t last long for Milli to become a better rapper like MI. We wish him well in his career.
