Embattled Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe who is currently having some marital issues with her enstranged husband Lanre Gentry is on the news again.
Recall that the two are not in the best of times in their marriage as Mercy alledges domestic violence stating that the husband beats her while Mr Gentry has accused Mercy of having love affairs outside marriage and even alledging that she has mental problem.This has stirred reactions and counter reactions amongst fans where some are of the opinion that the couple should quit spreading their dirty linen outside.

It was reported that the actress has packed out of their Ojodu Berger home to an apartment in Magodo and further confirmed to fans that the marriage is over and has replaced the surname Gentry with her maiden name.
In recent happenings we seem not to understand why Mercy Aigbe still wears her wedding ring as we can see in the recent photo,the Nollywood actress still hasn’t let go of her expensive engagement and wedding ring.
Could it be that Mercy is still in love with Lanre despite his ‘wife beating’ attitide? or she can’t let go of the fact that the rings are too expensive to dispose?
