Controversial Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Mr Lanre Gentry has finally been arrested. He was remanded in Kirikiri prison because of his inability to meet his bail conditions.
Gentry who was on the run ever since and has failed to show up in court twice over charges of assault and domestic violence was arrested while trying to sneak out of Lagos late last night.
Reports has it that he was later released and was ordered to show up at a nearby police station today which he obliged before heading to court today where he was put on handcuffs for contempt of court order.
Gentry’s lawyer applied for bail for him today and it was granted.He was sent to Kirikiri prisons depending the time when he will fulfill his strict bail conditions.
Surprisingly,its been reported that Mercy Aigbe is now running helter skelter looking for ways to get him freed,this move has made many wondered if the actress is really in her right state of mind.
