The Makjus Consultancy Services, in collaboration with Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) is set to host the Abuja Music Award on Dec. 10, to recognise talented youths in the territory.
Mr Moses Ebahor, the Chief Executive Officer of Makjus Consultancy Services told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abuja that the event was to promote hard work among upcoming Nigerian artistes.
He said, “the award is geared toward celebrating young Nigerians who are interested in redefining the Nigerian entertainment sector through creativity, hard work and dedication in Abuja.
“It is also expected to rekindle patriotism in talented Nigerians and making them to see the need to be dedicated to developing the Nigerian entertainment industry.
“We hope that the event will instill confidence and promote interest in Nigerian music among young Nigerians, especially those who reside in Abuja.”
He explained that a proactive approach had been put in place to redefine the sports culture which would help to restore the integrity and reputation of Nigeria to her pride of place among developed nations. (NAN)
