In February, the founder of Popular Record Label, Chocolate City, Audu Maikori was arrested over his fake report of the killings of five students from Kaduna college of Education by Fulani Herdsmen.

The lawyer and entertainer had disclosed he got the information from his personal driver who was from southern Kaduna and had travelled home within that period.

After he was arrested, Nigerians took to social media to mobilize a campaign for his release with the hash tag, #free Audu Maikori.

After his arrest, he was flown to Abuja where he was detained awaiting possible charges for “incitement”.

Days later, after depth numerous campaign from Nigerians, he was released and upon settling down he released an official statement apologizing to the Emir of Kano stating that he was misled his personal driver whom he trusted blindly.

Reports making waves says he has been rearrested and whisked away to Kaduna on the order of El Rufai.

Meanwhile, Audu who is said not to be in his best, health wise, collapsed at an event , WIMBIZ over the weekend.
