A deep look at this transfer makes it easy to understand why the Super Eagles of Nigeria have not been doing so well in the round leather game because there seems to be no Nigerian player involved in the ‘A’ list clubs’ signings.

Furthermore, most of the players who looked to have enjoyed top flight football last season and gracing the green and white jersey lost their places towards the end of the season while others were badly hit with injuries or fatigued.

This is the more reason the Super Eagles last home game performance against South Africa ended in disappointment despite having played two friendly games to get them ready for the encounter.

The team management needs to look and think deep now to get well fit and experienced players to face Cameroon next month or else, Nigeria would have completely lost her place amongst the African football elites.
