Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has on Tuesday bemoaned the illegal use of her image by a new alcoholic beverage brand identified as Frixion Vodka.
She was not the only victim of this act, others are, popular writer, Toni Kan; spoken word poet, Efe Paul Azino; and singers, Simi and Praiz who were named as its brand ambassadors.

The company sets to officially launch its website in less than five days time.
Reacting against this was Author of Nights of a Creaking Bed, Toni Kan who posted on his facebook page saying,“O People of God who knows the company behind these adverts o? They have stuck my head on a short man’s body without my permission. I see my brother Efe Paul Azino too. Looks like our xmas is already popping. Time to call my lawyer. Nigerians will never stop stealing”
Also, Efe Paul put up a similar post stressing that Frixion did not obtain his permission:
“Alas! I have become a brand ambassador for a Swedish vodka brand alongside Toni Kan, Praiz, Simi and Kate Henshaw without my knowledge.”
The actress, Kate Henshaw asserts that such thing is possible because Nigeria as a country is a lawless and corrupt society that cannot protect the economic value and interest of its citizen that is why any country can trample on the copy write of its citizen without due punishment.
