Recently denying that he had quit music, rap music artiste, Lord of Ajasa, has revealed that he is not the founder of Yoruba music in Nigeria, he has said that was the pioneer of indigenous music in the country.
With the likes of Phyno, Reminisce, Olamide, Ill Bliss, Mr Raw who have continued to blaze the trail of the indigenous rap music in Nigeria, Lord of Ajasa is making the claim that with his first steps in the direction of indigenous rap, these rappers have become more recognized.
In an interview with Vanguard, the dark-skinned artiste said he is the foremost propagator of all forms of indigenous rappers.
He said, “I am not one of the founders; I am the founder of indigenous rap in Nigeria. Not even just Yoruba, but indigenous rap as a whole. Who else started it before me?

“It is not about how many people are screaming my name. God gave me the talent, and I see it as a blessing, and I have been able to spread the blessings around. I am a successful fellow in the industry. Many people are doing what I started, and nobody can deny that.”
Lord of Ajasa, who is putting finishing touches to his forth coming album, ‘ The Spirit’ has featured artistes such as Olamide, Seriki, Terry G, Mode Nine.
