Mavin records singer, Korede Bello, is not ready to slow down in his career which got a boost after he was signed on to Mavin records, with few hit tracks to his credit.
Attaining the stage he is today has not been a rosy one as he explains that he had done several singles but never got the much needed airplay he needed.
The ‘Godwin,’ crooner who is still enjoying the dividend of the track song stated that things were the road to stardom was difficult because he did not come into the business by accident.
“Let me assure you that unlike some artistes, I did not just come into show business by accident. Before getting to where I am now, I have had my fair share of challenges. For example, ‘God Win’ is not my first album. I had recorded a couple of singles that failed to make an impact in the market before I recorded ‘God win’. It was titled ‘I love Naija.’ Although some of the songs in that album, which was released in 2010, did manage to get some attention from the media, they were not successful,” he told Punch.
Korede who was part of those that headlined the just concluded show in London by comedian, Julius Agwu, disclosed that he was so fascinated with the kind of crowd that turned up for the event and the love he received while performing on stage. “The ladies, in particular, showed me love in London,” he says.
