The season two of Koko Mansion, a television reality show organised by Mo’ Hits Records and exclusively aired on HiTV, will start soon, singer D’banj has said in a recent BET interview programme, Coming To America.
Speaking on what inspired Koko Mansion, D’banj said in the interview that the show was inspired by Flavour of Love, an American reality show.
“I would say America dictates everything. I was in the States last year and saw Flavour of Love and so many other reality shows. Meanwhile, back home, a lot of people want to know who I’m with and what I’m doing in terms of relationship. You know, as an African Prince, they want to know if I’m eating or if I’m not. So, we decided to do something.
“Everyone knows I’ve been into my work so much and that I do not have a better half. So, we decided to look for the ideal women, the Kokolette (the ‘complete woman),” he said.
Showbiz Trends gathered that this sequel would include a search for the first female artiste on Mo’Hits Records apart from other top prizes for the winner.
Bolanle Okhiri won the first edition of Koko Mansion in 2009.
