One out of the four landlords that was kidnapped last weekend by unknown gunmen in the Isheri North area of Lagos State one of them has reportedly escaped for the dens of the kidnappers.

The landlord (name withheld) who returned on Tuesday evening did not disclose his ordeals with any of his relatives.

It would be recalled that last Saturday some unknown gunmen stormed the waterways and took away the four landlords while they were jogging. They demanded a ransom of N1.2bn .

A source revealed that one of the men escaped on Tuesday.

 “He escaped from their midst because no ransom was paid. He is scared and has kept to himself.
The police have maintained visible presence in the community, but it is not certain they know where the kidnappers are.”
