Popular Nigerian Singer cum producer, Iledare Oluwajuwonlo professionally known as Jaywon has said that the reason he left Kennis Music was because Kenny Ogungbe, the CEO of Kenny Music group aka Baba Keke did not understand his vision.
Jaywon who claimed that there was no controversy between him and his former record label said he had to spend his own money to shoot music videos, something which ought to be done by the label.
He advised from his wealth of knowledge and experiences having stayed with Kennis music for five years that “If your label does not have money to shoot a video for you and you decide not to take any action, it is your career that would die. You are killing yourself”.
Meanwhile he said despite all that has happened, he still appreciates Kenny’s Music because his story cannot be complete without mentioning the record label. He said that although he now has his own record label he still makes a lot of money for Kennis Music till date.
