Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, has said that he will pray that his son gets a woman like the young lady who knelt to accept her boyfriend’s proposal in viral pictures recently.
In the shared proposal photos that went viral, the woman told her boyfriend not to kneel to propose because he is the man of the house and it is against our culture for a man to kneel for a woman.
The lady went on to kneel in the stead of her fiance as she accepted his proposal and ring.
In the veteran actor’s words, “This is quite interesting. I will certainly pray for this kind of Lady for my son. It accords with our culture and way of life. Ideally, I would prefer none kneels for each other but it’s quite close to our culture if it’s done in this fashion”, he wrote.
Reacting, Living In Bondage actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, said he will “certainly” pray for such a woman for his son.

Speaking in her interview with Sunday Scoop, the singer said while his passing made her go through a terrible experience she was consoled he lived a fulfilled life.
She said: “We are having his memorial today (January 29). It is a year today since we lost him. It has been a blessing and we thank God for grace to have fathered and mothered such a beautiful boy. It was tough but I thank God he lived (a fulfilled life).”
When questioned on her reason for becoming a stage actress she replied that it was based on passion.
She said: “I guess it was because of the love I had for it. I just wanted to be a fine artist but I was too distracted because I was doing fine arts, theatre and dancing. I was enjoying it and I helped set up the stage too. So, it was just one time I said I wanted to be an actor. My journey has been a good one. I am grateful for the opportunity given to me to be part of people’s lives.”
