Five Star big boy, Kcee has made an attempt to worm his way back into the heart of Nigerians after his infamous Instagram photolifting scandal.

In a new post,ostensibly aimed at making light of the whole brouhaha that has followed his action, the Romantic Call singer makes bold to laugh at himself over the whole issue.

Posting a cartoon image he claims not to know the creator of even the handle of the owner is crested on the image, Kcee shared a caption of how excited he is with the artwork. In his words:

“Who did this…. Lol. My love for you no go dey fall like dollar ? #desire ????Nigerians lol ? ???????? I like It…”

Will it work?

Recall that Kcee had in the course of the week been accused of stealing an Instagram photo of dollars for which the original poster, an American, called him out for using his post and passing it off as his own. Social media Nigeria couldn’t take the embarrassment as they tongue-lashed him on all platforms including his and the original owner’s Instagram handles.

Now that the ‘culprit’ has made efforts at laughing off the episode, it remains to be seen whether Nigerians will let bygones be bygones. Charge or bail? Over to you
