Most times, honour should be given to whom honour is due and that honour has to go to Nigerian entertainer, Julius Agwu, for setting a good pace for others to follow.
The comedian had over the weekend shared 250 Turkey to some well deserved citizens in Riverdale, United states of America, all in the thanksgiving mood of how he had successful survived a brain tumor which was operated in US.
Though he had come under series of criticisms from fellow countrymen, but that has not changed anything because he feels they deserve it and hopes to take it to other places also.
In the same vein, popular American singer, Chris Brown, has just done same as he gave out Turkey to some families who are not able to make ends meet for themselves.
While making his contribution, the singer challenged other fellow entertainers to come out and help others rather than think about themselves alone and riding in various cars and jewelries while pretending to be who they are not.
According to Chris Brown, “I honestly challenge the celebrities. We think about ourselves all the time and take everything for granted. Driving nice cars, jewelry, pretending to be something we aren’t. Let’s give back because it’s the right thing to do.”
Nigeria is truly the Giant of Africa. Always setting the pace for others to follow. Now the criticism is turning out to be a good value to life.
