Jordon Ibe an England –born Nigerian winger has declared his readiness to play for his fatherland after he was abandoned by his England team.
Ibe who formally rejected the offer made by Nigerian team is now ready to listen to what they have to offer.
“We are hoping he finds the project enticing enough to dump England where he is a youth international and play for Nigeria at senior level, “a source closed to the player said.
Recall that the ex-Super Eagles coach , Sunday Oliseh personally traveled to Liver pool to discuss the offer with him but he was focused on playing for England.
Oliseh said, “Jordon Ibe’s family informed me by telephone call that he was giving priority to an England call-up. We wish them well.”
But unfortunately, the player’s stock has fallen rapidly, losing his Liverpool place and having to make the switch to Bournemouth with an England spot no longer in sight.
